Downtown, Lynn Canyon, and Stanley Park

On the Saturday of our trip we decided to walk around town. We wanted to explore different parts of the city that we had never been to. The weather cooperated much better and we were rain free.

The first stop was the public library.

Next, we went to Yale town which is one of the oldest parts of town. The buildings and streets were made out of brick and it was a really cute shopping area. It is very tourist friendly, just be prepared to be asked for money a lot.

After Yale town, we wanted to go to Chinatown. We read a few guidebooks that provided tips for self guided walking tours of Vancouver and this was the next stop on the line. Because I am giving some travel tips, I recommend that you follow a guide book when planning your walking route from Yale town to Chinatown. We accidentally walked by a pretty rough part of the city, and it was totally fine because it was during the day but I next time I'll avoid that spot.

After walking through Chinatown and finding out that the Vietnamese place we wanted try was extremely busy, we headed back to the hotel. The sun was starting to peak through the clouds so we drove out to Lynn Canyon.

Lynn Canyon Park has a suspension bridge to walk over and it's really pretty. There are also lots of hikes that would be fun to do in the summer.

As we drove home from Lynn Canyon we noticed the sun was about to go down so we stopped by Stanley Park to watch the sunset. The park is huge and has an awesome aquarium that we have been to a couple of times. There is also a really nice bike path that circles around by the water.

This was the last day of our trip and then it was time to go home.
